Bob Cook the Man that Never Missed a Super Bowl Dies

The man that never missed a Super Bowl has died at the age of 79.  Bob Cook attended 44 Super Bowls and was a huge Green Bay Packer’s fan.  This year Bob was just too ill to attend the game.  He watched his last Super Bowl in the hospital.

Bob had been suffering from heart problems, chronic issues and a blood infection.  With his health in a decline, it was just not possible for Bob Cook to attend the Super Bowl in Dallas, Texas.  One thing that was amazing was how Bob did at least live long enough to see his favorite team win the Super Bowl.

Bob’s wife Sarah Cook said he passed away about a week ago.  During her visit with Bob on Super Bowl Day, she decorated the hospital room in his favorite team colors of green and gold.  His two daughters went to Texas and attended the Super Bowl in Bob’s place.  He acknowledged the fact that he was too sick to travel this year.  Bob was in a recent Visa ad leading up to the Super Bowl and he was part of the “Never Missed a Super Bowl” club with 5 other members across the country.  Rests in peace Bob, not many people will ever top 44 Super Bowls.
